Devils Lake MWC Kids and Family Fishing Clinic.

NPAA Members Johnnie Candle #42, Dave Noble #997, Chad Maloy #499, Don Denning #140, Corey Heiser #373, Troy Morris #166, and Dan Palmer (MWC bumpmaster) #345 hosted a Youth and Family Fishing Clinic on Friday June 24th following the Day one MWC weigh in at Grahams Island State Park in Devils Lake, ND.

 All kids in attendance received a free tackle pack from Northland Fishing Tackle, a free rod and reel combo, NPAA Future Pro t-shirt, and other goodies. The crowd learned about ANS and how to stop its spread. Johnnie Candle provided instruction to the kids on rigging a slip bobber and hook on their new rod and reels as the MWC/NPAA pros provided hands on help.

The night wrapped up with a drawing for a new bike. All the kids waited anxiously to see if their number was called out but only one was left standing. Congratulations to Jasmyn Riediger who won the bike donated buy Gate City Bank.

A big thanks to all the pros for making this happen!!!

We also  thank  the MWC for the use of the stage and all of their help in making these events happen. There were a few dozen kids in attendance making this a very fun event for everyone!

We look forward to seeing everyone at the next MWC event on Lake Oahe in Mobridge, SD on July 22nd & 23rd.
