DuraSafe Locks Becomes NPAA Marketing Partner

Forestville, WI – The National Professional Anglers Association continues to expand. Members know it’s the organization that enhances their careers and supporting partners understand how they can reach the most influential anglers. The newest partner joining forces with the NPAA is Wisconsin company DuraSafe Locks.
Company co-owner Cathy Frantz said, “We quickly learned that NPAA members are the base we need to reach. This diverse group guides, fishes tournaments and uses their equipment more than most other fishermen. We protect their electronics, trolling motors, trailers and solve problems with creative products. We will ask them what they need and answer with products for the fishing and marine world.”
Their number one product is E-Lock, a keyed-locking device that prevents thieves from making away with an angler’s electronics units. “This is so important, because now anglers can stop at the bait shop, at the ramp, at a restaurant, and not worry about their electronics being stolen,” she said. “These removable and easy-to-use locks are convenient and offer security to fishermen.” One type of lock fits the RAM mount and another locks the unit to the bracket.
DuraSafe also produces trolling motor locks for most MotorGuide and MinnKota bow mount motors. The company makes the only lock that fits most current MinnKota transom mount trolling motors.
Their Coupler Connect is an example of the DuraSafe “problem-solving.” This device, when mounted on a receiver makes it extremely easy to hook-up a trailer at night or when alone. The Coupler Protect guards against the trailer ever separating from the tow vehicle. “We couldn’t believe how many times people shared their tragic stories about boats coming off the hitch, and the serious ramifications,” Frantz said. There is also a trailer lock available; all at reasonable prices and made in the USA. “Because we own a machine shop, we can easily create and build new product prototypes and get them in the field for testing quickly,” she said.
DuraSafe will offer NPAA members a 50 percent “Members Only” discount for online orders and free-shipping through the Christmas season. “When the NPAA members become familiar with our products, they will talk about them, and our retailers will sell more as a result!” she said.
DuraSafe will be one of many industry partners displaying products and meeting members at the NPAA annual conference Jan. 2 – 4 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Suites near the Minneapolis airport. NPAA executive director Pat Neu said, “This is a unique event to learn firsthand from some of the best promoters in the angling sport. This really is a career-enhancing event that is open to our members and to the general public.”
