February 8, 2013, Fargo, ND, Moorhead, MN-FM Walleyes Unlimited, Inc., will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, February 21st at the Kelly Inn on Main Ave, Fargo, ND. The meeting will include their annual chili feed and election of officers followed by a seminar from Leisure Outdoor Adventure Guides, Captain Tim Hanske and Toby Kvalevog (Ka vale a vog).
Leisure Outdoor Adventures (LOA) is a world class outfitter business headquartered in Walker, Minnesota. They are located on the shores of Leech Lake, one of the Midwest’s premier walleye, muskie, and perch waters anywhere.
Captain Tim Hanske was born and raised in the Brainerd Lakes Area. He grew up fishing on a small local lake fishing every day his parents would let him! That passion turned into a profession in 2003, when Tim chose guiding as his primary occupation. Tim is known around the area as a multispecies guide. His passion is based around the challenge of catching any fish that will bite a hook. Throughout the year he chases walleye, musky, large and smallmouth bass, crappies, sunfish, perch, steelhead, trout and even carp and suckers. Guiding is one of Tim’s passions; he hopes to guide you to the fish of a lifetime.
Toby Kvalevog spent the first 18 yrs of his life playing hockey or thinking about it. He started in net as a goalie for the North Dakota Fighting Sioux a record 121 games and since a National Championship run, he switched gears from stopping pucks to netting fish as a Competitive Angler. The Passion is the same. Toby says, “There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about my next event. Fishing is on my mind every day of the week.” Toby has spent his whole life in northern Minnesota hunting and fishing. Besides guiding, Toby has a degree in Education and has proven his angling expertise as a touring pro on the FLW Walleye Tour with several top ten finishes and two wins.
The events will take place Thursday, February 21stth at the Kelly Inn, Fargo, ND. The doors will open at 6:00 for the member chili feed (available while it lasts) and 6:30 for the general public. The seminar will begin at 7:00.
