The promising conditions this morning as skies cleared and temps warmed up were just what Dennis Gulau ordered. His day two weight of 29.75 added to his day one weight of 30.85 was enough to put him into first, but by just the slimmest of leads over Brett King.

Scott Allen came in with a weight of 33.96, the heaviest total of the day. That success out on the Bay of Green Bay launched him into third, just .63 pounds out of first. It’s truly going to be a shoot out tomorrow; fourth place is held by day one leader Chad Schilling about 5 pounds back. In sixth is Jason Przekurat, by virtue of his 28.21 pound weight today; all separated by less than one average Green Bay Walleye.
Seventh was Rich Boggs adding almost 30 pounds to his day one weight. Eighth is Tommy Skarlis, ninth Joe Okada, and rounding out the top ten is Tom Gatzke.
Mike McMaken is in 24th with a total of 32.48 pounds which was the cut for the top 24 field fishing the final day. The conditions seem to be custom ordered for tomorrow, with a forecast high temperature of 76 degrees and winds at about 5 to 10 switching from SE to SW all the way around the compass.
