It May Seem a Long Ways Off, but Mark Your Calendars Now!
Forestville, WI – While fishing season is about to begin across North America, it’s time to mark an important fishing date on all calendars. The National Professional Anglers Association 2017 annual conference, the event that will kick off next season, is slated for Jan. 6-8, 2017 at Chula Vista Resort and Water Park in Wisconsin Dells.
Association Executive Director Pat Neu said, “The 2017 conference is now being crafted to work with members about how best to make an income in the fishing and promotional world. The theme, ‘Professionalism Defined by Actions,’ will be addressed by a stellar cast of experts from within and outside the fishing and marine industries.”
The Chula Vista Resort was selected due to its beautiful setting on the water, family friendly amenities including the water park and because it has space for the annual conference to grow. For those wishing to take advantage of special discounted rates, early reservations can be made by calling toll free at (855)421-1186 and referencing the group code NPAA17.
The annual Future Anglers Foundation banquet is built into the Saturday evening schedule, with a ticket to this fund raising benefit included in the conference fee or available for purchase for those who choose to attend only the banquet. The conference combines keynote speakers, professional panels, show type displays by NPAA partners, and plenty of time to visit with industry leaders. “This is where professional anglers advance their careers,” Neu said.
Additional information about the conference including an agenda and registration forms will be available on the NPAA website in early September. For information about membership in the NPAA or about becoming an NPAA Partner, please call Ashley Garland at (937) 698-4188.
