Jamie Robinson, NPAA Member #387 of Wawa, Ontario started off the Northern Ontario Walleye Trail (NOWT) season with 3 top 4 finishes.
It all started the first week of June when Robinson and fishing partner Terry Bernath placed 2nd at the Mattagami First Nation Walleye Tournament which had 104 teams competing. Next up for Robinson was the June 15th and 16th Dubreuilville Father’s Day Walleye Tournament, where he and Bernath placed 3rd in the 107 boat field.
Then this past weekend Robinson fished with his 12 year old son Brett at the Geraldton Walleye Classic where the father and son team placed 4th out of the 115 teams fishing.
With these great finishes and going back to last season that now makes six straight NOWT events where Jamie has placed 4th or better. The results include one 1st place, three 2nd place finishes, one 3rd place and one 4th place finish.
Jamie would really like to thank his supporters and family who have contributed in various ways. Without them this success would not have been possible. They include MirroCraft Boats, Yakima Bait, Fin-tech, Minn Kota, Humminbird, Cannon, Northern Lights Ford, Buck’s Marina, Evinrude and Simms.
