Pro Brian Keller held a clinic today out on Oahe.

Day One leader Mark Brumbaugh CRR’d an impressive 20.47, and despite two days of weights over 20 pounds, fell behind Mr. Keller by almost 4 pounds!

Keller weighed in 31.72 to take the lead with 49.29 pounds. Second place Mark Brumbaugh has a total of 44.49, and Todd Riley holds down third with another impressive 7 fish limit and a two day total of 42.11.

Fourth place Mike Gofron has 39.4 pounds, and Chase Parsons rounds out the top 5. One half the field will head home today as the top 25 ready their rigs for the final day of the Akaska AIM Tournament.

Rigging and trolling cranks were the top presentations today, but some fish were also caught shallow casting. Brumbaugh is traveling 88 miles one way, and is fishing treetops pulling cranks. Brian Keller is about 60 miles out, so he will have more ‘wet line’ time than Mark.

Fifth and sixth place is held by Chase Parsons and his father Gary. Both are definitely within striking distance of first place.

A cold front is headed through tonight, bringing winds out of the North to Northeast at 6 to 11 MPH.  Thunderstorms are also a possibility, and the weather sites seem to be in disagreement with the possibility of higher winds in the afternoon.

AIM’s signature coverage will begin tomorrow morning at about 8 AM central time offering morning interviews with the leaders, images of the morning action, and more. Tomorrow’s live webcast will begin at about 4:30 PM right here on http://aimfishing.com.
