Learn 2 Fish With Us Educates Boys At Rawhide Boys Ranch On Fishing

Learn 2 Fish With Us, Angler Educator and NPAA member Greg Karch #138  presented his Fishing Basics seminar at the Rawhide Boys Ranch in New London, Wisconsin on May 9th.  The morning started out by Greg presenting his Fishing Basics seminar which reviews: safety, open and closed spinning combo’s, casting, fishing presentations, bait, knots, parts of a fish, fish identification, ‘Clean Drain Dry’ and conservation.  During the Fishing Basics seminar the boys worked with Greg in doing many hands on activities related to fishing.

After the seminar, Greg handed out Shakespeare Ugly Stik combo’s to each of the boys that were donated by the NPAA and Shakespeare.  Also handed out, were tackle boxes that were filled with tackle which was supplied by Plano and Learn 2 Fish With Us.  These boys were so excited for the fishing equipment and were ready to use it.  So the boys and Greg went down to the Wolf River, where they utilized the newly learned skills and caught some fish.
