Maloy Receives FM Walleyes Distinguished Member Award

April 8, 2014, Fargo, ND, Moorhead, MN-FM Walleyes Unlimited, Inc., recently presented its Distinguished Member Award to long time club member, Chad Maloy. The presentation was made during the clubs March 20th meeting by past president, Gary Sauvageau. Sauvageau was last year’s recipient.
The Distinguished Member Award is presented annually to the member who best displays the ability to unselfishly work toward the club goals in a spirit embodied by the membership of F-M Walleyes Unlimited, Inc. For extraordinary contributions toward the achievement of club goals and objectives. To further the fishing educationand enjoyment of the membership, propose the growth of the membership, advance the importance of resource conservation and to encourage involvement in club activities by all members and their families.
Chad Maloy has been involved in all aspects of the club generously donating of his time and community spirit. He served as the clubs president for two-plus terms and on its board of directors for over 10 years. His efforts to obtain top level speakers and sponsors for the club and his networking with media outlets all over the Midwest has helped grow our club membership to record levels.
Chad continues to work behind the scenes unselfishly promoting FM Walleyes in many ways including writing press releases and doing seminars.
The FM Walleyes Unlimited, Inc. fishing club was established for the improvement of standards of fishing for its members and indirectly, the fishing community at large. Through good habits of taking fish and sportsmanlike conduct in this process, better fishing should result for all.
