Mercury Marine is pleased to announce its 2008 Ranger Cup Powered by Mercury angler contingency program for the following 2008 tournaments, including the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League (BFL), Stren Series, FLW Tour, FLW Series, FLW Walleye Tour, MWC, PMTT, Bass-N-Bucks and IFA Redfish Tour. Mercury Marine is excited about its new partnership with the Ranger Cup program. With well over 3.6 million dollars in cash already awarded exclusively to Ranger owners, Ranger Cup is delivering the largest contingency paybacks in competitive fishing history. Potential prize money from Ranger Cup Powered by Mercury totals more than $250,000.Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League (BFL) – Pro Angler OnlyIf the winner of a Wal-Mart BFL event meets the Ranger Cup Powered by Mercury guidelines, then Mercury will award $500*. If the winner of the tournament is not Ranger Cup Powered by Mercury compliant, then Mercury will pay the highest finishing Ranger Cup Powered by Mercury compliant angler $250*. Total potential prize money could exceed $70,000.Stren Series – Pro Angler OnlyIf the winner of a Stren Series qualifying event meets the Ranger Cup Powered by Mercury guidelines, then Mercury will award $1,500*. If the winner of the tournament is not Ranger Cup Powered by Mercury compliant, then Mercury will pay the highest finishing Ranger Cup Powered by Mercury compliant angler $1,000*. Total potential prize money is $85,000, with a top prize of $25,000.FLW Walleye Tour and PWTIf any of the top 10 finishers in The Ranger Cup Walleye meet the Powered by Mercury guidelines, then Mercury will pay them an additional 50%* of the Ranger Cup payout.
