Congratulations and THANKS to all 88 teams that fished the MWS Upper Winnebago tournament!

The winds were brutal all day making for some cold rides. The sun was out all day but the wind persisted and made for tuff boat control. However the fish did cooperate with many teams boating as many as fifty fish however to get the fifteen and larger walleye proved to be a challenge. Success varied from early to all day. Twenty one teams weighed a five fish limit. There was a total of 198 fish caught weighing a total of 304.5#.
The Father/Son team of Robert O’Connell and Kevin O’Connell took first place with five fish weighing 12.08# winning them $3,700.
Second place went to the team of Jim Christman and Luke Leanna with five fish totaling 10.56# for $2,000.
Third place went to the team of Brett Leitl and Kelsey Hoehnen with five fish weighing 8.82# for $1,100.
Fourth place went to the team of Adam Adler and Ryan Dempsey with five fish totaling 8.38# for $850.
Fifth place went to the Father/Son team of Bruce Van Schyndel and Jeremy Van Schyndel with five fish weighing 8.32# for $700.
The Jack’s Jig, Big Eye Custom Lures award went to the team of Scott Ristow and John Clumpner
The Intrude Products award went to the Husband/Wife team of Scott Hausauer and Tricia Hausauer
The JavaFit coffee award went to the team of Jim Keller and Travis Dittmann
The Father/ Daughter team of Tim Pizzi and Nicki Pizzi had the big fish of the tournament weighing 4.54# winning them two plaques donated by All Sport and Trophy, a $100 gift certificate donated by TRS The Reel Shot and two gift certificates from Anglers Pride Specilities.
Current Team of the year is Robert O’Connell and Kevin O’Connell. Robert and Kevin are also the current parent/child team of the year. The current sibling Team of the year is Chris Schrader and Scott Schrader. Current husband/wife team of the year is Scott Hausauer and Tricia Hausauer.
