Miller and Miller win MWS Winnebago

Congratulations and THANKS to all 89 teams that fished the MWS Winnebago tournament.
The winds were light to start the day but continued to build all day. When the teams headed in for weigh in they had four to six foot waves. The sun was out all day with comfortable temperatures throughout the day. The fish cooperated with teams having success using different methods. Success varied from early to all day. Eighty two teams weighed a five fish limit. There was a total of 432 fish caught weighing a total of 1196.06#. Only one team did not weigh fish.
The team of Jason Miller and Matt Miller took first place with five fish weighing 19.98# winning them $4,500. Jason was fishing with an observer as Matt could not fish which limited Jason to three lines. Jason also had the big fish of the tournament with a 7.38# walleye. With a 2:30 pm deadline he weighed in at 10:30 am in the morning. Second place went to the team of Wayne Gregor and Dale Boeck with five fish totaling 19.04# for $2,400. Third place went to the team of Dave Van Oss and Eugene Van Oss with five fish weighing 18.64# for $1,200. Fourth place went to the team of Stephen Paulsen and John Hynes with five fish totaling 18.16# for $1,000. Fifth place went to the team of Brian Keller and Larry Eaton with five fish weighing 18.12# for $800.

The Navionics award went to the team of Keith Daniels and Dave Lorenz
The Tommy Harris award went to the team of Greg Wiezba and Tim Skenandore.
The Ego Slider net award went to the Husband/wife team of Greg and Kathy De Kalb
The Intrude Products/Anglers Pride Specialties award went to the team of Joe Marshall and Scott Zupon
The big fish of the tournament weighing 7.38# was caught by the team of Jason Miller and Matt Miller winning them two plaques donated by All Sport and Trophy, and two $50 gift certificate donated by TRS The Reel Shot home of the JJ Keller fishing team.
Current Team of the year is Jason Miller and Matt Miller. They are also the current Sibling team of the year. The current parent/child Team of the year is Dan and Jake Mc Guire.
