MWC Devils Lake Future Angler Event Marks the Largest of the Season!

August 2nd 2013-
The National Professional Anglers Association (NPAA), The Cabela’s MWC , Pure Fishing and Zippo Outdoor Brands presented a Youth & Family Fishing Clinic immediately after the first day’s weigh-in at the artificial only MWC event on Devils Lake.

This NPAA Future Angler Foundation event marks the largest of the season with just over 50 kids attending.

 Each child received rod-and-reel combo and a t-shirt courtesy of the NPAA. Spencer Deutz #552 led the event and shared the importance of Inspect, Drain and Dry to prevent the spread of ANS. After the education of ANS, all the kids shared their ideas and thoughts on what equipment they thought needed to be cleaned, drained and dried after leaving the water.

 Other NPAA members helping out included Chad Maloy #499, Zach Axtman #512, Brenda Picht #513, Stephen Picht #514, Johnnie Candle#42, Mike Dorris #426 and Dan Palmer #345.
