2014 Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit Highlights!

• 9 regular season MWC events plus Championship

• 2 Artificial Only events, (Spring Valley and Hasting, MN). With $2,500 added money from Berkley to each of these events!

• NEW! 2 (minimum) TWF Open events held the day after MWC events. NOT a point’s event an OPEN!

2014 Change Highlights.

• Based on angler feedback – We have lowered the full field size to 150 teams so get signed up early!

• Based on angler feedback – Top 3 scores for overall standings AND Team of the Year standings, fish as many as you wish to improve your scores. Even playing field best most consistent team of the year wins.

• Based on angler feedback – At least (2) OPEN events conducted by The Walleye Federation (TWF) the day AFTER MWC events at select locations. THESE ARE NOT Masters Walleye Circuit POINTS events. These will be FUN events with a modest $200 entry fee. With a format unlike anything ever done in the walleye world and we will invite the local community teams of anglers to sign up and compete in a one day OPEN event against MWC Teams who choose to stay and play an extra day! Stay tuned for details coming soon!

• Based on angler feedback – A long list of NEW PREMIER TEAM benefits like the ability to utilize a PRE-DESIGNATED substitute if your regular partner CANNOT attend an event and still keep your points (under very strict rules) (please read rule #18 very carefully)

• Based on angler feedback – Bonus rewards for PREMIER TEAMS that fish 4, 5 or 6 and more events!

• Based on angler feedback – Team of the year awards are now awarded to the top (10) ten teams

• Based on angler feedback – Once the regular World Walleye championship standings are compiled past that point all duplicates qualifiers will proceed down the PREMIER TEAMS ONLY list. See Rule #19 for details
