The Future Angler Foundation helps introduce youth and families to the sport of fishing. The nonprofit NPAA is focused on growing the sport of fishing and works actively with the Future Angler Foundation to host Future Angler events across the country each year.

The Full Throttle/NPAA Future Angler Event’s feature a educational seminar and training after each tournament for youth hosted by NPAA members and pro anglers Kirt Hedquist, Tom Davis and other NPAA pro’s. 2014 Future Angler and Full Throttle Tournament Schedule

Full Throttle is a professionally run organization dedicated to providing faith-based
fishing tournaments and charity events that emphasize a family atmosphere, along
with competition and camaraderie. The organization was started to cater to anglers
looking for a tournament series with a Christian foundation. The goal this year is
to increase the popularity of the tournament series and thus spread the message of
faith and family bonding.
Each event will include a complimentary team dinner on Friday night, where rules
are announced, followed by an inspirational speaker, a pro-fisherman segment and
prizes. The Friday night gathering helps enhance fellowship among the Full Throttle
tournament series participants. Tournaments begin Saturday morning and end by
the evening, allowing contestants to attend mass and spend time with their families
on Sunday.

Events are non-denominational and Full Throttle welcomes all who wish to
compete and all levels of fishermen, from novice to pro. We have worked with
many pro-fishermen to help with speaking, endorsing, fishing, and teaching, since
the beginning of our organization. Professionals such as Tom Brunz, Ron Lindner,
Jimmy Lindner, Tommy Skarlis, Jimmy Bell, Kevin McQuoid, Kirt Hedquist, Tom
Davis, Jim Adsem, Steve Brandt, and Jim Kalkofen have all participated in Full
Throttle Fishing tournaments and events.
