NPAA Member Jim Wedell Hosts Fishing Klinic for Kids Event in Rockford, MN

On October 24th. Jim Wedell NPAA #895 took his Fishing Klinics for Kids organization to a mini school expo. This was held in Rockford, Minnesota and other members also accompanied him.  At their second annual event FKFK asked questions on the fisheries, conservation, and safety to the kids who stopped by with their parent. All kids received a minnow net for their effort (didn’t matter if they gave us the correct answer or not) and the parents were given brochures on boat and ice fishing safety.

The event was very successful with approximately 75 kids and parents stopping by to see us in two hours.

After the event all members who attended went to a Buffalo Lions Club pork chop dinner.  The Lions are one of  FKFK biggest supporters each year. It was great food and a Super night overall!
