NPAA Members Host Future Angler Event at the Oconto MWC Tournament

NPAA members Bill Van Ornum #801, Scott Ludwig #632, Jeffery Otis #621, Tim Euting #789, Kevin Dahl #115 and Chad Maloy #499 hosted a Future Angler event after the day one Oconto MWC weigh-ins, which was held on May 31st.   Many kids and parents attended the Future Angler Event to learn from the Pros.  To kick-off the event, Bill conducted a seminar where he talked about safety, casting open and closed face fishing rods and the AIS message “Clean Drain Dry”.  After the seminar the youths attended stations, where they learned how to tie a Palomar and Clinch knot, and practiced casting at the Backyard Bass station.  Tim Euting said “I always look forward to helping at these events, as I look forward to passing on my skills to the youth and parents”.

Each youth went home with a fishing combo and NPAA Future Angler Shirt which was donated by the NPAA and Future Angler Foundation.
