NPAA MEMBERS INTRODUCE KIDS TO FISHING AT KIDS HOOKED ON FISHING

Organizer and NPAA member Dr. Guy Jensen #372 has been holding Kids Hooked On Fishing for the last twenty-three years.  The event was held at the Aquatics Center in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on Sunday, March 30th. 

Other NPAA members that helped out at the event were Greg Karch #138 and Mark Schram #182.  The event consisted of casting practice, casting contest, fly casting, minnow races along with fishing related education by the organization of Learn 2 Fish With Us. 

Even with outside temps in the sixties (first time this year) the gym was packed.  At the end of the event youths were awarded fishing combo’s for placing in the top three for their age category in the casting contest.

Throughout the event, youths were awarded door prizes and due to the sponsors, all the youth went home with something!!!

Kids Hooked On Fishing would like to thank their great sponsors; Daiwa Tackle, Northland Tackle, Mercury Marine, NPAA and the Future  Angler Foundation.  As together we are growing the great sport of fishing!!!
