Hall of Fame angler Gary Parsons has regained the #1 spot in the World Walleye Rankings, following the PWT Championship rankings update. The #1 Ranking was previously held by FLW Walleye Tour Pro Jason Przekurat.

Parsons has racked up an insane 10 top-tens over the 2 year +2 ranking period.

Parsons owns the highest average rank over the lifetime of the World Walleye Rankings, and has spent the majority of the time in either first or second place.

Other notable movement:

Chad Schilling moved into fourth place, mostly due to becoming "fully vested". Ranking scores are artificially degraded at a declining rate for rookies through their first three ranking updates.

Jay Weber moved into the Top Ten on the strength of three top tens and a majority of consistent money finishes.

Takasaki is back into the top twenty with a second at the Lake Sharpe FLW and three top-twenty finishes out of the last four events.

The current Top Ten are as follows:

1.Gary Parsons 792
2.Jason Przekurat 790
3.Chris Gilman 753
4.Chad Schilling 751
5.Perry Good 757
6.Jay Weber 745
7.Tom Kemos 761
8.Bob Propst Jr 753
9.Scott Fairbairn 762
10. Dustin Kjelden 750
