Hawthorn Woods, IL – January 6, 2013 Power Pole shallow water anchor systems has joined the World Walleye Association (WWA) as a sponsor for the 2013 season in both their Illinois and Wisconsin divisions. Power Pole is manufactured by JL Marine Systems Inc.
Power Pole is providing $100 gift certificate for the “ONE OUT OF THE MONEY TEAM” for each and every WWA event and a 10′ Power Pole Blade shallow water anchor system (Value: $2,095) to the team winning the WWA championship. Additionally, the agreement with Power Pole provides for $250 Captains Cash contingency money to be paid to all qualifying anglers that win any WWA qualifying event and $500 for the qualifying anglers that win the WWA Championship. Details on registering and qualifying for the Captains Cash program can be found on the web at http://www.power-pole.com.
“I am excited that WWA has the opportunity to play such a big part in introducing Power Pole shallow water anchor systems and the all-new Drift Paddle to the walleye fishermen”, said WWA President Joe Baron. “The Power Pole drift paddle replaces the drift sock and adds a complete new dimension to boat control while drifting or trolling.”
The 2013 season will feature two tournament series. Five qualifying tournaments are being scheduled for each of the two series (Fox Chain, Illinois and Winnebago system, Wisconsin). Additional series will be added each year. The schedules for the two series will be officially announced in the very near future. Follow the WWA on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/WorldWalleyeAssociation or on the WWA website at www.worldwalleye.com for additional information as it becomes available.
