Rasmussen and Mueller Make Long Run Pay Off to Win WWA at Green Bay

Green Bay, WI – Adam Rasmussen and Ben Mueller turned an hour long drive in rough, windy and all around miserable conditions pay off for them by winning the World Walleye Association Wisconsin Team Challenge Green Bay event held out of the Metro Boat Landing Sunday May 15th.Rasmussen and Mueller ran approximately an hour north of Green Bay to the Oconto area where they trolled with crawler harnesses in 10 feet of water to catch their four fish limit of 25.84-pounds winning them a check for $1,375.Jim Tiemann and Debbie Ojala placed second in the event by a mere .01 of apound with a weight of 25.83-pounds for four fish. Tiemann and Ojala made upfor just missing the win by catching the big fish of the tournament which weighed 7.76-pounds.Tom Techlin and Jysen Freund took third place honors with a four fish limit weighing 20.07-pounds.The second and third place finishers also fished the Oconto area trolling crawler harnesses.To see pictures of the winning teams and a complete list of how all the teams finished, visit the WWA website at www.worldwalleye.com which is hosted by the leaders in multi media technology, OutdoorsFirst Media.
