Stroven and Evans Win WWA Michigan Team of Year Titles

FOND DU LAC, WI - With all their finishes in the top ten including one win, the team of Brian Stroven and Dean Evans won the World Walleye Association Michigan Team Challenge Team Of The Year title.Earning a point total of 1772 out of a possible 1800 that included winning the Houghton Lake event, Stroven and Evans won a close points race by four points or two places in finish over the second place team of Troy Stachler and Terry Mackillop.Bill and Bernadine Ayres were named Husband and Wife Team Of The Year in the WWA Michigan Team Challenge and also placed third overall in the point standings. Key to the Ayres finishing third and winning the Husband and Wife Team Of The Year title was their fishing in the Lake Erie Open Event, which they won.
