When jigging blade baits for walleye the blade bait can draw a walleye from long distances. Even when fish are in a neutral mood, the tight rapid movement of bladebaits draws strikes. Fish bites are harder on these lures than most others jigs or baits used for walleye. When walleye fishing with blade baits the fish seem to inhale them with the intent to kill as opposed to just biting.
