Learn 2 Fish With Us Introduces 4h Youth to the fishing basics

Certified Angler Educator Greg Karch with Learn 2 Fish With Us, and NPAA Member, along with NPAA member Ken Doepker #105 hosted a fishing seminar that introduced youth to

fishing during the 4H Outdoor Sports event.  The event was held at the Boys and Girls Brigade in Neenah, Wisconsin on Saturday, February 7th.  Over forty youth and their parents attended the seminar.   Greg presented his ‘Fishing Basics’ seminar which reviewed fishing safety, spin cast and spinning combos, setting the hook, casting, knots, fish identification, parts of a fish, bait, catch and release, and the AIS message of ‘Clean, Drain and Dry’.  Every youth attending the Fishing Basics seminar, received a NPAA Future Pro Shirt which was donated by the National Professional Anglers Association and the Future Angler Foundation.  All the kids were so excited about the shirt and then asked Greg if he would sign their shirts!!!  He said ‘Of Course!!’.
