NPAA member Greg Karch #138 hosted a Youth and Family Fishing Clinic for Cub Scouts in Neenah, Wisconsin on June 6th.  During the forty-five minute seminar on ‘Fishing Basics’ the following topics were covered; safety, details on open and closed face fishing combo’s, casting, fishing identification, knots, bait, part’s of a fish, what was in Greg’s tackle box when he was a youth and finally a AIS message on invasive species  and remember to  “inspect, drain, clean, dry”.

After the clinic I spent one-on-one time working with kids on casting.  A BIG thanks goes to Dave’s Musky Club of Kaukauna, Northland Tackle Company, NPAA, Plano, Maui Jim Sunglasses and TTI Blakemore Fishing group for donating tackle boxes, tackle, shirts and more.
