Lincoln Park Business Group holds annual Walleye open
The Lincoln Park Business Group held its annual Walleye Open on Saturday afternoon.
Organizers say they had more than 400 people participate in the tournament this year.
All the proceeds go to help non-profit organizations in the district as well as the Lincoln Park Business Group.
“We have a lot of things happening that are very positive right now with the craft district coming together. We feel this is an up and coming part of our city and we want to support that and encourage businesses and make the businesses district as clean and as effective as it can be,” said Randy Brody, a member of the fishing committee.
People also had the option to donate the fish they caught to Pike for Vets, a group that collects walleye through out the year and does a big walleye fish fry for veterans.
