Try spillways for early open water walleyes

It’s still winter, but good open water angling opportunities exist for cold water spawning species of fish like walleyes during the winter months.

So if you’re bummed because you’re not a hard water angler or because we have lost too much ice this week, don’t fret it; just get your long rods out.
