Walleye Festival begins April 25 in Freeland

FREELAND, MI — The annual Freeland Walleye Festival and community-wide garage sales return Thursday, April 25, bringing droves of anglers and bargain hunters to Saginaw County’s Tittabawassee Township.
The 34th annual festival kicks off Thursday with high-stakes Texas hold-em and cornhole tournaments and continues through the weekend with a fishing tournament, community-wide garage sales, carnival rides, beer tent and casino games, parade, pancake breakfast, car show, 5k and 10k races, disc golf and more.
