Public land hunters: This fall, have a plan to dispose of your deer carcass.
We recommend disposing of deer carcass waste in a licensed landfill that accepts deer carcasses, in a dumpster designated for deer carcass waste, double bagged in your curbside pickup if it is allowed, or at a transfer station.
Dumping of hunter-harvested deer carcass waste on any public lands or road right-of-way is prohibited.
